If you purchased your Tervis in the last 30 days, you probably want to start a return or exchange instead.

Step 1

Check that your Tervis product is eligible for replacement. Lots of imitators out there and different products have different guarantees. Not sure? Let’s find out.

Step 2

Fill out the Guarantee Form for up to 6 products.

Step 3

Pack item(s) with the printed form in a box or padded envelope and send it in (or bring it to the Tervis Store, if you are local). Instructions will print with the completed form.

Step 4

Take a deep breath. Your part is done. We will email you once we receive your package. Sit back and relax as we make things right.

“Lifetime” specifically refers to the time at which, through normal use, the product can no longer function in its intended purpose, not the lifetime of the person using the product.

Normal wear and tear refers to conditions which the product is exposed to during its intended use. Expect “normal wear and tear” when you are taking tumblers with you to the beach or on the boat or camping or after normal everyday use at home. “Normal wear and tear” assumes that you’re washing your drinkware after use.

Our guarantee covers failure of materials or workmanship. So, if anything accidentally slipped by our quality inspection, we’ll make it right.

Excessive wear and tear, abuse, misuse, or neglect is not covered by our warranty.

Tervis physically examines the drinkware returned for replacement to verify that there was a failure in materials or workmanship.

Not really, but there are some other considerations: We reserve the right to limit and/or refuse the replacement of drinkware based on but not limited to the conditions outlined in the guarantee. Product replacement is at the sole discretion of Tervis. Drinkware must be physically inspected by Tervis prior to replacement.

For classic products, we will attempt to extract your current emblem (patch) or wrap from your returned product and reinstall it into the new replacement product. While it is not a guarantee that it can be salvaged for replacement, we will take the utmost care in our attempt to do so. Please note if we cannot reuse the design in your drinkware, we will send a replacement without a decoration.

We will make every effort to replace your drinkware with the exact size, but cannot guarantee its availability for replacement. In the event the product has been discontinued or is no longer available, it will be replaced with the closest product we do have available.

Some Tervis products, like melamine, accessories, or limited release products, are not covered by a guarantee.

Absolutely. Our courteous staff can assist with filling out the guarantee form and will accept the product in store. The replacement products can be shipped to you or you can arrange to pick it up when it is ready.
